"Pioneer Ancestors" Compilation Volumes
The Indiana Historical Society offers two books compiled from the membership information forms of The Society of Indiana Pioneers from 1916 to 1999. The first book, "Pioneer Ancestors of Members of the Society of Indiana Pioneers" ($20.00) and its supplement, "Pioneer Ancestors of Members of the Society of Indiana Pioneers, 1983-1999," ($15.00) were both compiled by the Society's former genealogist, Ruth Dorrel.
Another interesting book with an index prepared by Ruth Dorrel, is "Centennial Farms of Indiana." It is available for $24.95 from the Indiana Historical Society.
Yearbook Historical Articles Compilation Volumes
Doris Leistner has compiled the historical articles that have appeared in each of the Society's yearbooks over the years. There are two volumes available:
- "Indiana Pioneer Stories - Volume 1 (1918-1959)"
- "Indiana Pioneer Stories - Volume 2 (1960-2000)"
Each book costs $45.00. Indiana residents please add 6% sales tax per book. If mailing is desired, please add an additional $4.00 for postage.
